The past tense of `break' is broke, not `breaked'. The past participle is broken.

She stepped backwards onto a cup, which broke into several pieces.

A brake is a device on a vehicle which makes it slow down or stop.

Brake is also used as a verb. When a vehicle or its driver brakes, the driver makes the vehicle slow down or stop by using the brake or brakes.
